Suse for the first time

Its weekend! I’ve just installed OpenSuse on my PC for the first time. I start to feel boring with Ubuntu so I decided to try out something else. I like the green concept of the OpenSuse distribution. Very serene.. haha.. According to the wiki, Suse was originally a German translation of Slackware. No wonder, I encountered the same hardware problem which I had experienced in Slackware 12 during my first installation of SuSE. I choose KDE as my preference of many desktop environment supported by SUSE. In ubuntu we have APT but in suse we have Yast. Pretty much new thing to me but experiencing new stuff is good. So from now on, my post is more about OpenSuse 10.3.
